College School Supplies?
I’m in general psychology with lab.
biology with lab.
oral communication
and college algebra.
What supplies will I need for each class?
Would it be better to organize things in a binder
or would it be better to have notebooks and folders.
I really can’t decide.

Depends on how you are….I’m not the most organized person in the world so I just have 1-3 notebooks and just write notes in them, with a little section of the notebook for each class.
You’ll have to check the syllabi for your classes with labs, they likely will require some special materials (ie goggles, journals, etc).
For now just get the basics, pens, paper, notebooks, etc….Anything special you need will be in the syllabus.
Probably a calculator for algebra, again check the syllabus though to see if you need a graphing calculator or just a scientific one.

Don’t get anything yet. Your professor will tell you. There’s no use spending money when you don’t need to or having to buy more because you weren’t prepared anyway.
Some classes will be good with a binder (biology and psych.), but other classes you can probably do fine with just a folder to hold some papers (oral and math).

Definitely get yourself some desk supplies! Things like a paper punch (adjustable 3-hole), stapler, staples, tape dispenser, pen/pencil holder, a ruler, drawer organizer for your desk, sticky notes, highlighters, pens, pencils, erasers (to go with your pencils!), scissors, paperclips, binder clips, sorting baskets or trays (2 – 4), a good calendar that you can write on (the calendar-type desk blotters are great because squares are big), stick-on labels (or a labelmaker and tape), a bulletin board or bulletin board/whiteboard combination, push-pins….
I think taking notes in a notebook or on a tablet is pretty much up to you and your preference. You may find that you use something like a big 5-subject notebook to take all of your class notes in and then transfer them to separate folders or files when you get back to your desk. It just depends on what you are comfortable with. Your profs will tell you what supplies they want you to have for class, usually, if there is anything beyond paper and writing utensils. Of course you will need things like printer paper, ink, and whatever computer supplies you normally would use. (A thousand years ago when I went to college, we didn’t have personal computers, so typewriters were the "thing". Try finding a Smith-Corona correction cartridge in the middle of the night when your paper is due at 8 am.!!)
Whatever organizational system you used in high school will get you started, and as you get into things you’ll develop something that works for you and helps you keep track of things.
Good luck and have fun!!

Please don’t worry that much about this stuff. Just buy a pack of pencils, pack of notebooks, scientific calculator for algebra, required books and book bag. Thats it. You don’t really need other stuff, so don’t waste your time, and energy even thinking about that. It causes more stress, you have to keep it simple can you learn that??? You going to study in college so, it’s all about YOU not your supplies. If you really need some other specific supplies your instructor will tell you in the first day of class, so forget about any supplies right now and start thinking about yourself as studying those boring objects in hours for minimum 4 years. If you are not that fast learner if might be tough sometimes.

I agree with Raffrel but you will need a Ti-83 calculator instead of a scientific one because the scientific one does not have all the functions you need. Besides that just paper and pencil/pens and books for your classes
