College school supplies/general questions?

1. Are most assignments supposed to be printed, or do you sometimes still submit with looseleaf lined paper?
2. Do you usually have to write in pen? If so, is it usually a specific colour (black or blue)?
3. In high school, I used to use one binder for everything. Should I still do that, or should I maybe separate them into a few binders, or even one binder per course, since they’re only 3 month courses?

1. It depends. If it is an english paper then typically that is printed but math homework is usually just written by hand.
2. It depends on the individual professor. Ask your professors.
3. I use a binder for the classes grouped on the same days. I have classes that are on Monday and Wednesday and another one that is Tuesday and Thursday so I use 2 binders.

Most of the time it depends on the professor. When I was in college I handed in typed assignments because they just looked more neat. Again for pen/pencil it depends on the teacher. For taking notes I liked to use a pen because I could write faster with it. I would definitely suggest using separate binders for each class. Watch out though, you don’t want to be lugging a heavy back pack if you have to walk a long ways. Good luck!!
