Connections Academy School Supplies?
My friend is going to connections academy. She is freaking out because she doesn’t know what "school supplies" to get. I can’t get her to shut up over this minor problem. She keeps saying, "What do I do? Do I get regular school supplies like for public school?!" This is her schedule:
Art 7
Educational Technology and Online Learning 7
Gifted and Talented Language Arts 7
Gifted and Talented Literature Study 7
Gifted and Talented Math 7 – Algebra
Health and Physical Education 7
Science 7
Social Studies 7
Study Island (Don’t mind this. It’s virtual)
Don’t say "It’s virtual! You don’t need supplies!" You need something~ It’s only 30% on the computer. HELP!

* common art supplies: sketch paper/pad, art pencils, oil pastels, watercolors, paint brushes, construction paper, tempura paint, charcoal pencils, colored pencils, etc.
* 3-ring binders
* loose leaf paper
* report covers
* notebooks
* a scientific calculator
* a pedometer
* printer paper
* index cards
etc….
CA should have a list of supplies that are not sent out. Typically they don’t send "common school" supplies or "common household" supplies.

Did your friend ask the others teachers in school?
If the answer is yes; there are supplies somewhere, then go and get it.
If the answer is no (it’s would be a big possibility; because that’s the way they make money from the teachers) then, either looking around where the charity, or local TV station, …etc.
The last resort is to take your own money and spend it for school supplies.
Besides, the question like this. I have nummerous extra supllies s to be giving up soon (because of my moving); for example: pencils, pens. I do not know where are you so I can help you.
Contact me asap, if you wish: my email is wtnrd@yahoo.com
Teachers, Good Luck to you all for a new school year!

I believe they send you all of the supplies you need.

Judging from the website, they send you all the books and workbooks you need, and some other stuff depending on what classes you’re enrolled in. So if your friend is just dying to go buy some school supplies, tell her to get some looseleaf paper and a binder, binder dividers, and pencils and erasers, and maybe some pens. That will quite do until she receives her stuff from the academy and sees if they tell her to get anything else.
