I think public schools need to be shut down. After about the 1st grade they are not teaching children any thing they might need in the real world, instead what the do is condition the children not to make waves, to march when the bell rings, and that what they are interested in is not important. Yes, rule following and punctuality are important, but people don’t need 15 years to learn it.

I have heard all my life how teachers don’t make enough money. As far as the quality, I live in Iowa and they have some of the best schools in the country.

There are many great teachers; too much money is going into a failing system; supplies, and books (content & quality) are often times inadequate.

How do we feel about it; we home school.

The problems with our education system do not stem from money, teacher’s salaries, curicula etc. The problems come from the students and the break down of the family unit in America. If you switch the student’s from the worst school and best schools and leave everything else the same (building, books, teachers etc.) the performance indicators (grades, performance tests, violence, drugs) will follow the students. The worst will become best and the best will become worst.

The government run and mandated so-called "public school system" is intentionally designed to "dumb down" the public so that the agenda of the proponents of The New World Order (NWO) can go forward in the dark without the light of public scrutiny or knowledge.
Children.are now programmed from an early age to be good little slaves to the Master which owns and runs the government. Independent thinking is largely a thing of the past and a study of the machinations of government has gone out of style.
Teacher’s salaries, school supplies and textbooks are irrelevant. The information being taught is what is vital and is what makes the "educational system"of today counter-productive for Americans and only beneficial for those who would remove our liberties.
