   It is really up to you. Professors won’t care what you write your notes on or how you organize your papers. So get whatever type of paper, binders, and notebooks you want for that. Whatever you think will keep you best organized. You can write with whatever pens or pencils you want, they honestly don’t care at all.

   As for assignments you’ll be turning in, the vast majority of them will require you to use the computer, so just have some printer paper handy at all times.

   In a math class they might require you to use pencil instead of pen or to use graph paper but there is no way to know that until you start the class. I guess you could get graph paper just in case.

   I’ve been wondering the same thing since I’ll be starting college in the fall, as well. I wouldn’t want to buy too many things because there’s a high possibility you won’t use them all. I’d just get 1 or 2 subject notebook for each class since there will probably be A LOT of note taking. Maybe a binder or folder where you can put papers and handouts in. Another thing is a laptop. Writing papers will be the norm so it’s imperative that you get one. A printer too, but you can always print things out in your school’s library or computer lab. In case, you need more info, I’d call the school and ask. Plus, on the 1st day of classes, the teachers will tell you what to expect and what you’ll need.
