Have you got your list of required books yet? Aside from the books the only things you really need are your backpack, a notebook, pen and class schedule. You will learn more about what each class will require once you get there.

this would be a hard question for some people.but first of all i congrat you for getting into college .you need a laptop,and you know how in grade school you had to have pencil,highlighters,erasers and stuff, you can bring those too they will help get like blank computer disks in case you have to save somthing and then transferr it.tape glue and stuff.oh yeah if you have a dorm bring all your belognings like from you room to decorate.IM ONLY TEN AND IM ANSEWING THIS.

My school is a community college and all we have to bring is our basic equipment, notepads and a bag.
I would assume this is the same for all community colleges.
