When registering Photoshop CS Educational version do you have to supply a copy of a student I.D card?
I’m looking at buying a second hand copy of Adobe Photoshop CS via trademe, and it’s an academic/educational version. I read somewhere that CS4/CS3 registration requires you to post in a photocopy of your Student I.D card before they activate your software.
The reason I ask is that I.D cards are optional at our school and I didn’t get one (this is the first time in 4 years I’ve ever needed one). If it’s required then obviously I can’t supply it and will have to wait a few months til Student I.D’s get renewed next year so I don’t want to spend the money if I can’t use it.

No, that will not be needed to install. It’s the store’s burden of proof during the original retail sale. Simply enter the license key, install and activate.
